4" Nepenthes Alata "Pitcher Plant"
Nepenthes are carnivorous plants! Be sure the pitchers on your plants have about 1/2' of water in them so they dry out! Insects are attracted to the nectar secretions and coloration of the pitchers. The slippery rim of the pitcher encourage insects to fall into the digestive fluid at the bottom of the trap, where the plant absorbs it's nutrients from!
☀️Medium to Bright Indirect
💧Prefers to stay damp [not wet] - water when top 1" to 2" of soil is dry to the touch
🍃Likes humidity - Keep away from drafts - Ensure good air flow If your pitcher plant stops making pitchers, this means you need to increase the humidity around your plant!
